Happy Sunday to you and yours again !
You know that Jamaica is a hotbed for vacationers right?
Oh yeah, and not only persons from overseas, our very own here as well!
But more and more persons are swarming here when the opportunity arise.
And that 'opportunity' typically means (outside of the temporary Covid19 restrictions) having the money to vacation here!
That really is the determining factor.
And so the question of 'when is the cheapest time to vacation in Jamaica?' is always a topical one.
But great news!
We have a recommendation!
What does a river, Crabs, Eels, Mudfish, Frogs and Crayfish have in common?
Well they are all a feature of a typical crayfish hunting trip!
In this video, I capture highlights of this exciting adventure in Hawker, Hanover, Jamaica. Watch me, Maxine and her family take on this fun trip.
But look forward to me cooking the crayfish :-)
And now the video!!!
Please be sure to share a comment. And if you like it, please share it with someone, the more the merrier.

Every heard of The Roaring River Cave in Westmoreland?
Well the general Roaring River area was once one of the 24 estates owned by Peter Beckford, a horse trader who arrived on the island in 1660.
The Beckfords were one of the first English families to settle in Jamaica after the island was won from the Spanish.
On this land is a cave that centuries ago, runaway slaves used its multitude of paths, spanning more than five miles to escape to the coast.
I did the tour with Robert, a local guide sometime ago and will say to you, its an experience you will never forget!
And so today I highlight this often forgotten piece of our history, the Roaring River Cave.
This week's recognition goes out to my entire YouTube family!
Bet you didn't realize that we are now at 30,000 subscribers?
Oh yeah, and its because of their unwavering love and support.
And so to you , and all my other website and YouTube subscribers (they work hand in hand), I say...

Did you know...
... that Jamaica has eight (8) different species of birds that are black in colour, most of which are commonly called 'black birds'?
One of these is the Antillean Grackle, popularly know as the Kling Kling bird.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
Did you hear that flights have resumed from Germany?
Oh yeah, they removed Jamaica from its list of countries with a particularly high risk of infection due to widespread occurrence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its variants!
Flights between Jamaica and Germany resumed last Sunday, May 23, a clear sign that tourism is starting to open up again in Europe, Jamaica’s third biggest market, behind the United States and Canada.
And that's it for today my friend, remember, please continue to stay #SafeAndSane.
