Hey ,
Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend.
Remember last week I mentioned that we saw a major increase in stopover arrivals over the Easter holiday weekend, with the island recording the highest number of visitors since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic?
Oh yes, and we are bracing for even bigger numbers after the vaccination programs in our major markets are fully rolled out.
But one of the questions that kept coming to us before, and even since the pandemic, is this...
What can I take to Jamaica?
Well my colleague explored it fully and prepared a detailed guide on this.
You can find it here:
Quite insightful article.
Be sure to read and share with someone.
And yes, that's my featured article for this week!
And now our..
Remember "Ms Pumpkin" and her daughter Nickoy from an earlier video?
They were the mother daughter team on the pumpkin farm that had a challenge with the mongoose, remember them?
Well they are up to something else!
And they invited me to stop by and show you their latest project... Pig Farming!
Learn and enjoy!

Its touted as the best for all hair types.
It will moisturize, thicken, strengthen and rapidly increase hair growth. It increases blood flow to the scalp and supply valuable nutrients to hair follicles. It also prevents hair breakage, dandruff, eczema and dry, itchy scalp.
And above those... listen to this:

- Components of it is even used in the making of some chocolates!
- And a host of other health benefits.
What am I talking about?
Oh yeah, Jamaican Black Castor Oil!
Now you know!
On Friday we laid my beloved friend to rest, remember the one who (I mentioned some weeks ago) passed away in the hospital.
I'm using this global medium to say thanks to everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this time.
He was a great friend. In fact, I was his best man at his wedding just months ago and so it hit me hard, but the amazing love I got from this community made a tremendous difference.
So on behalf of his family I say, thanks again my online family!
Did you know...
... that real Jamaican jerk flavor comes from meat seasoned with pimento (called Jamaican allspice) placed on top of a bed of pimento leaves and/ or pimento wood sticks?
Then, it is slowly barbecued over a fire. Pimento is found predominantly here in Jamaica.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
The Covid19 pandemic has been on us over a year now?
I am curious..
How have you been coping?
What are some of your coping skills?
re you doing anything different - new job, new skill?
