Hey ,
Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend!
I hope that most things, if not all, are well on your side.
So you know we finally got some Covid19 vaccines here on Monday right?
And the roll out started (with front line workers) on Wednesday (March 10)
Yep, that was the donation from India - makes me wonder about some of our industrialized 'friends' though, but that's for another discussion.
But with all the fanfare and high expectation, will average Jamaicans take the jab?
That's the 2.7 million dollar question!
My associate wrote a quite insightful article on this though and I thought I'd feature and share it with you this week... here is it:
Be sure to take a read.
With the significant increase in the number of Covid19 cases, and related deaths, over the last week here (100% in some cases), I took a calculated and responsible decision not to venture into 'video land' this
week.
And that might continue into next week too.
Sure, we take all the precautions, but you can never be too sure about the enemy that you can't see with the naked eye right?
So I crave your understanding and continued support in this regard.
There is however a video I posted over a year ago that if not yet seen, I'd like to bring to your attention... this one is a true inspiration!
Please be sure to share a comment. And if you like it, please share it with someone, the more the merrier.

The Arawaks, also called Tainos, who were the original inhabitants of Jamaica, named the island Xaymaca, which meant “land of wood and water”.
And without much question or research, we can see why, right?
Leave the beaches out for a while, we still have a wonderful abundance of rivers, streams and waterfalls - some of which today still captivates the world!
There is a particular gentleman (I assume because of the name), Glen Campbell, that seems to comment, and always have something positive and uplifting to say, on virtually all my new YouTube videos.
I don't know him personally, and is not even sure if he is subscribed on this side (the website) but I want to salute him this week.
The world needs more folks like him.
Did you know...
... that the islands of Turks & Caicos and the Cayman Islands were dependencies of Jamaica?
This they were until Jamaica became independent in 1962. Then they reverted to the charge of Britain. Jamaica however, still assisted in Judicial and police matters when invited.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
YouTube has a new feature, called YouTube Shorts.
If you follow social media, its YouTube's (beta version) of TikTok.
And since YouTube is my preferred platform, do expect to see a few of them overtime from me. They are, just as the name implies, Short videos up to 1 minute, but usually engaging - at least I hope mine are :-)
But anyway, just thought I'd give you a heads up on that.
Of course, if you have any suggestion or request in this regard, please don't hesitate to reach out to me my friend.
That's it for today, please continue to stay #SafeAndSane.
