Happy Sunday , I trust you, and yours, are well.
As indicated above, I do have a video for you, but just before, following up on the article about the weather in Jamaica, I want to bring your attention to a more detailed one, The weather in Jamaica in March!
Yes, we are already at the 3/4th of the month, but I know a number of my subscribers who are living outside of Jamaica was still very interested in this one.
The responses became the content of this featured video (below)
The question I asked, in what I call the "VACCx Pop", was this...
WILL YOU TAKE THE COVID19 VACCINE?
The responses turned out to be quite interesting, some of which might totally astound you!
Here is the video (below)
Please be sure to share a comment. And if you like it, please share it with someone, the more the merrier.

Last week I went out by the airport to conduct some business and ran into a lady that exports breadfruits!
Now I now we have it abundant here, and also that a few persons export it, but it was my first time meeting one of such persons.
We had a good chat, including some possible collaborations in the future, but then it dawned on me, how popular (and loved) Jamaican breadfruits are overseas, particularly in the diaspora!
Now I know breadfruits are not indigenous to Jamaica, but like ackee, I think we mastered it here, cooking it in all types, shape and forms... and now we even make breadfruit flour!
We also use it in blended punch and puddings!
But now I'm learning that, among other nutrients, "it is impressively high Vitamin C, dietary fiber and potassium. These qualities make the breadfruit a cholesterol controller. Breadfruit protects the body from heart diseases and heart attacks. The fibre present in breadfruit helps to control diabetes by reducing the absorption of glucose from ingested food".
Ever heard of Dr. Sebi, world renowned and respected herbalist?
If not, just Google his name and you'll see!
Well, earlier this week I got a surprise call from one of his daughters!
Actually a message first, and then I invited her to call.
Long story short, she wanted to speak to me on the Duck Flower (she saw this video on YouTube) apparently.
But hear me, she was as 'down to earth' as you ever can get, and I totally respected and appreciated that.
So today I recognize her. Much thanks and blessings Chrismie!
It was truly a pleasure and honour meeting, and speaking with you!
Did you know...
... that the city of Kingston started out as a place of refuge for survivors of the great Port Royal earthquake in 1692 which sank two thirds of Port Royal and killed over 2000 people?
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
Just saw a news clip that...
More than 800 tourism workers here have been re-sensitized about the COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols that were established for the reopening of the sector in June last year.
Approximately 23 re-sensitization sessions have been held by the TPDCo so far, most of which were virtual.
The protocols cover all areas within the tourism industry, including accommodation, attractions, water sports, craft shops, shopping, cruise ports, airports, contract carriage, restaurants and bars.
... thought I'd let you know :-)
