Happy Sunday to you again !
Always look forward to today to share my special posts and features with you :-)
A few weeks ago I shared one of my most authentic videos with my readers, this one, the Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO, they call it).
And perhaps the only thing that was missing there was a detailed breakdown of all its health benefits.
The benefits to hair are well known, documented and practised, but did you know for example that it treats acne, relieves joint pains, and also aids in respiratory health?
Well, Deon has put together a comprehensive piece outlining these and all the other amazing health benefits of Jamaican Black Castor Oil!
I invite you to read it here (link below):
This caused a bit of anxiety as it was my first Zoom interview.
But the quality of the content totally eased my anxiety and not just calmed me down, but I was in total awe by the end!
This young man, Rayon Griffith, is creating waves with his talent and skill in Art!
Yes, he does some of the best drawings, sculpting, paper modelling and painting anywhere in Jamaica!
You should see the drawing of the Toots Hibbert, as a celebration of his life!
Here's the full video of the interview.
Featured Jamaican Product
I feel like I might have featured this already, but then again it might just be based on the fact that I adore this product so much; It's Jamaican Curry!
Of course, curry is never in short supply, but authentic Jamaican curry is premium.
I've gotten oh so many special request for this from overseas!
What's make it so different? What's unique about it?
You can read more about it here:
This week's special recognition goes out to Lorraine - from Costa Rica (and USA)
Lorraine came here recently, even despite Covid19 to, according to her, visit her grandparents homeland but also fell in love with the people and culture.
I also acknowledged her in the post and mentioned the connection between Jamaicans here and the descendants in Costa Rica (see article here).
But I just want to salute her here as well, and thank her for taking the time to share her feedback!
Did you know...
... that the parish of St. James here in Jamaica was named after James, the Duke Of York? He was the reigning English monarch at the time.
I'm putting another challenge out to you today .
Do you know someone who has an interesting story that could be featured on my YouTube channel?
What about you, yes you ?
Please reply to this email and let me know as the journey continues.
In the meantime, please continue to #StaySafeAndSane during these tumultuous times.
Blessings
