In my previous newsletter, I told you that, even with the pandemic, there is no dull moment in Jamaica, remember?
Well, if I needed any justification, it came this past week!
Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, announced the date of the next general elections!
And yes, for many, it is the most exciting time here - believe me not just for politics!
The elections to choose the party that will run Jamaica for the next term will take place on Thursday, September 3 (nomination is this Tuesday)
We have that, but also some useful information on the political parties in Jamaica and what can be expected during this 'season'.

To ease the boredom of lock-down, I took my little family on a south coast road trip on Independence Day (August 6).
We had loads of fun, including enjoying Jamaica's best Fried Fish and bammy at Border.
But just before we reached there, I decided to make a video so I could share the experience with you.
