Greetings and Happy Sunday to you and yours again !
I still say Happy Sunday despite the alarming increase in Covid19 cases here, because I believe all will be well.
But I must pause to remind you (and implore you to share the message) , wear your mask, practice social distancing (avoid crowds) and wash and sanitize your hands frequently.
But back to the subject of the general elections.
As usual, there are are number of questions, but we've narrowed them down to the top 8 questions, and Kesha did a fantastic job answering them.
Here is the article with the questions and the responses:
And yes, that's the featured article for this week.
Please be sure to read - and share.
And now, my...
Last week I told you I embarked on a road trip to the south-coast and featured their fish and bammy - you remember right?
Well I got greedy for the shrimp, it was that good. And so I returned during the week to learn exactly how they make it - and of course, enjoy more shrimp!
So yes, I have the video!
Here is it!
Featured Jamaican Product
You guessed?
Yes, it's Jamaican Peppered Shrimp!
It's not just a favourite for Jamaicans here at home, but to many who visit from all across the globe.
The video above outlined the full recipe, thanks again to Sharon and Omega, but I also have a full article with the other great Jamaican shrimp recipes, you can find it here (below): https://www.my-island-jamaica.com/jamaican_shrimp.html

Did you know...
... that Ginger Ale was first made in Jamaica?
Its an excellent remedy for indigestion, nausea an motion sickness. It also prevents stomach flu and nausea associated with chemotherapy.
I noted it earlier, but I'll remind you before you go ...
The number of covid19 coronavirus continues to rise here in Jamaica and indeed many places around the world.
Please, please, let's do our best to curtail the spread of this terrible disease.
Remember the virus cannot move on its own, it needs a body and so if we social distance, wash and sanitize frequently and wear a mask in public, we can significantly reduce the spread.
Let's do it so we can get back our lives in order sooner than later my friend.
Blessings
