Happy Sunday !
As you probably know, are many ways to say hello in Jamaican patois, and new ones seems to emerge, ever so often!
Perhaps the most 'universal' though is 'Wah Gwaan', with a sort of questioning tone. That greeting / response by the way, was made even more popular after former US president, Barack Obama, used it during his inaugural visit to Jamaica on April 8, 2015.
But there are a lot more! Kesha took on this question recently with a fulsome answer.
Please be sure to read and share.
And now, my...
Last week I promised you something 'sweet'.
Well, to be totally honest with you, it was not quite the sweet I had in mind, but this one couldn't have had a better timing - and equally (sumptuously) sweet!
It's Mangoes! Jamaican Mangoes.
I did a mango bush (mango walk) tour a few days ago, and couldn't wait to share it with you.

I am going to be honest with you, this one was a little emotional.
It came in from Jermaine, and he started like this...
"You are a true blessing and gift from the father...."!
It made my day!
So thanks again Jermaine for your feedback my friend! It is truly a blessing to be able of such service to so many persons, in and out, of Jamaica.
... Jamaica was the first Caribbean Country to gain independence?
Well, now you know!
