Happy Sunday , I hope this email finds you well.
So yes, it's June 15th!
That's the date Jamaica is set to re-open to international travellers!
Technically, it is for non-Jamaicans - including visitors/ tourists, as Jamaicans have been coming home since June 1 under the Controlled Re-Entry program.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Rose Brown, a lady from rural Jamaica, who epitomizes what I call #TheRealJamaica with her creativity and entrepreneurship.
She creates authentic Jamaican oils - including castor oil - boiled and cold pressed, coconut oil, neem oil, comfrey oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera oil, blessed thistle powder, neem powder and more!

Featured Jamaican Product
Today's featured product is yet another historic, but eerie attraction; it's the Rose Hall Great House.
Legend has it that there was a white mistress named Annie Palmer who used voodoo to kill her husbands, slaves and a host of lovers here. And today many still swear that her spirit is still there!
Be sure to read up on RoseHall Great House here:
Today's recognition goes to yet another ardent reader, Candy Rowe, who is not only using my website and YouTube videos to stay grounded in our culture, but also to teach Jamaican culture all the way in Japan!
She sent me a pic recently (see below), showing my video on the television in her class!
That made my day!
... Jamaica was the first colony England acquired by conquest. This was in the year 1655 when they defeated the Spanish!
Well, now you know!
This time next week, I figure that there will be a lot of buzz about the re-opening of Jamaica to the world.
I welcome it but with some apprehension, as although it means facilitating the livelihood of many and there are some control measures, it also means we will be at increased risks of this nasty virus.
My message to you (and myself) is still the same, please remember to #StaySafeAndSane!
