Hey ,
Happy Sunday again to you - and yours!
I hope most things are well on your side.
Last week, I shared a story of Byron and Ruth, the American couple who after 70+ visits combined, made Jamaica their home with a now thriving goat dairy farm!
That was a hit! It was amazing the number of feedback I got, both on the article as well as the YouTube video.
If not yet done, take a look.
Anyway, the subject today is about Jamaica's reopening!
Yes, we reopened, with great excitement and fanfare!
But what can you expect? What are you expected to do or to comply with?
Please be sure to read and share.
And now, my...
So, do you know how Jamaican curry is made? The old time way?
Well, thanks to Ver, a friend of mine, I hooked up with Mr. Mendez and he showed me the entire process.
And yes, I have the video!
You may also watch it in the frame below.
Featured Jamaican Product
If I ask you what three products are synonymous with Jamaicans chances are JAMAICAN JERK would be one of those right?
Absolutely!
Jamaican Jerk, as it is renowned worldwide, is a style of cooking native to us in which meats (traditionally pork, chicken and fish) are dry-rubbed with a fiery spice mixture called J'can jerk spice.
This week's recognition is a bit unusual, its to someone I have idea who they are!
The name... BUSHIDO (Sounds like an alias)
Not only is Bushido new to my newsletter, he or she appears to be coming to my site the very first time but this was the comment...
First, I found your article of compelling interest. Ruth and Byron seem to embody a wonderful attitude and I hope their enterprise continues to prosper. Secondly, I plan to subscribe to your newsletter - wonderfully designed, and you clearly are a commendable and admirable advocate of your fine island nation.
Thank you Bushido... the pleasure is mine.
... we have the second largest butterfly in the world? (The Giant Swallowtail).
Well, now you know!
I'd like to hear from you... what's your take on the reopening of our borders and the current protocols in place?
Do me a favour and share your feedback here.
Who knows, you might just get featured in our next newsletter :-)
In the meantime, please remember to #StaySafeAndSane!
