Happy Sunday ,
I hope you (and yours) are relatively well as we continue to navigate this pandemic.
Today, I'm continuing my feature on indigenous and native Jamaica herbs and spices with a fresh new focus on what Kesha calls, the 'yellow-orange' medicinal magic!
What exactly is that? ... TURMERIC!
Get ready to be pleasantly, or should I say, colourfully surprised!
And now, my...
This week, I'm diverting a bit from the throwback series to share this, my latest video, about Jamaican soursop!
Get ready to salivate :-)
You may also watch it in the frame below.
Featured Jamaican Product
Of course, the feature today is soursop, but more so the leaves.
And I'm highlighting a response post I sent to Terri sometime ago.
Not only did I capture the potent health benefits of soursop leaves, but also dosage; meaning how and how much to use.
Please read and share.
This week's special recognition goes to one of my most ardent readers, Dorrett Graham.
Back in 2007, I wrote an article highlighting 16 fun facts of Jamaica from my ebook, 101 facts about Jamaica.
Since then, that article has made the rounds on the internet with several persons and companies using it, sometimes verbatim, on their web pages, radio and social media channels.
Chances are you might have read or heard it read before.
Sound familiar?
She forwarded yet another copied version to me, from someone's YouTube channel, but challenged me to redo it better... we'll see.
So again, thanks again Dorrett, you are a true defender!
... Jamaica was the first country in the Western world to construct a railway, even before the United States! This was only 18 years after Britain!
Well, now you know!
Several countries have started to relax measures of Covid-19, and in some cases, we welcome that, but please my friend, be careful... this thing has the potential to resurface again and potentially even worse if not managed
probably.
So my message again, please #StaySafeAndSane!
Talk again soon!
Regards,
