First, thanks for all the heartfelt wishes and tributes for the people of the Bahamas, our Caribbean neighbors as they come to grips with the aftermath of monster hurricane Dorian; very thoughtful of my readers!

Yesterday, we also had somewhat of a Mini-Dorian here, but not a hurricane. It was a tense leadership race in our first, and one of the two main political parties in Jamaica, The PNP.

We captured the buildup here, but also updated it with the final result - won by Dr. Peter Phillips. So yes, that's our FEATURE for the week. Read more here.
