Hola ,
Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend💥! So I get this question quite a bit. I mean the ones about the best attractions and stuff like that, but this one was a bit different. She was asking for a particular type of attraction and at
a particular location.
Here's the question from Christine:
"I am looking for off-the-grid or, in other words, alternatives to the highly marketed tourist excursions/sites such as hiking in nature or nature experiences, particularly in the NW and NS part of the island, such as Hanover, Westmoreland & west St. James. All within a 1 to 1½-hour drive from
Lucea."

Did You Hear?
Hope Gardens in St. Andrew has just become home to Jamaica’s fourth Jam-Iconic Experience — a striking new installation unveiled by Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett. Featuring bold ‘HOPE’ lettering with plants, lights, and a photo-ready plaza, the space blends beauty, history, and national pride.
This initiative is part of
a bigger push to transform tourism into a shared cultural experience for both visitors and locals. Similar iconic landmarks are also set up in Falmouth, Montego Bay, and Negril, each telling Jamaica’s story in creative and powerful ways.
And that's it for now. Until then... take care!
