☝🏾One More Thing!

Last Sunday evening I learned of the passing of a dear friend who was also the colonel of the Charlestown Maroons in Portland, Marcia "Kim" Douglas!😭

I was stunned by the news! 😲 

We spoke just weeks ago - she wanted me to visit there to cover an event.they were having but unfortunately I was not able to make it that time!

Every since our first visit with June, Afrika and my family (I wrote about it here), we became friends and kept in touch, supporting them on several initiatives.

But this again, just goes to show the frailty of life, doesn't it? sigh🤔

May her sweet soul rest in peace. 🙏
