Hey ,
Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend✨
Although personally I'm doing great, I'm in a more reflective mood.
And I'll tell you why.
About two month ago, I got a text on WhatsApp from one Marcia, one of my YouTube followers. I sense the apprehension in the text as she tried to explain how she needed my help, so I took up the phone and called her.
She was delighted to hear from me - and
so quickly!
Apparently her Mom is Jamaican, but she spent most of her formative years in the UK and later had jobs between the UK and US.
Her mom retuned to Jamaica recently and she came down to live with and assist her (They apparently have a large
family home here)
But she ran into a bunch of issues ⚠.
- First, she had issues with recruiting persons to help her mom,
- She had issues with builders who were not keeping their promises or who are not trustworthy.
- And even
shopping, she said persons who overcharge her, just because of her apparent British accent.
But, above that, she has a deep love for this country💗, and she wants to give back, especially to women and girls (apparently she was in social work), but she doesn't know where to begin or who to turn to.
Bottom-line she is frustrated.
Long story short, I listened to her and made some recommendations that helped her tremendously, but I promised her one thing, and that's JamHearts Academy.
When I explained the concept to her, she was over the moon🎉
Its funny though that she called me while I was the peak of building out this revolutionary concept. But that was additional inspiration and validation for me to continue to work it out - and as
soon as possible.
, the truth is, Marcia's story is just a reflection of some of the realites here.
And there are many other persons, like her (and I
suspect probably you too ) who either:
- Are planning to visit, but have questions, perhaps regarding the safest and best local accommodation, or generally, how to access local services and need something trustworthy.
- Are considering doing business here and are seeking guidance.
- Are contemplating migrating here and is seeking recommendations on the best and safest places to live, how
to connect with like-minded individuals, and figuring out how to give back, like Marcia.
- Or simply have a yearning for learning more about the great country, networking with others, basically looking for safe and respected community of people.
Those where the pain points that inspired me to create this revolutionary project
. I call it JamHearts Academy. -as far as I know its the first of its kind here.
This is a space where like-minded persons (persons like you and I) can connect, share knowledge and experience, network and build meaningful connections.
And we do this via private discussion forums and interactive zoom-like events (and yes meetups are on the agenda too).
Its a vibrant, safe, online community where learning is
facilitated, questions find answers and networking flourishes .
And we are up and running.
In fact, I created a little video showing what and how we do it inside the community. You are welcome to take a look at it here.
That's what I've been hinting at for the past few weeks.
And I tell you something , in my opinion, this is the most revolutionary project in all of my 16-year online journey showcasing Jamaica!
And why, because it is going to transform lives in a huge way.
I can't wait to hear the transformations🙏.
The Founders Launch will be (very) soon (I'll keep you posted), but we already have persons on the inside and they who are absolutely loving it💃!
This special founders launch by the way, is like a private dinner
party. Only persons who are on my email list, including you, will be notified - meaning, persons on social media or the wider internet will not be able to see it just yet (they will come later)
And why?
Well I wanted to keep it internal for now. I felt like I needed to do something special for this, the
most group of persons - some of them, like Ralph Kuitems, have been following me here for more than 10 years!
So yes, you too will be included.
So if not yet done, click here to join the waitlist right now .
I already said a lot, so I won't say much more than just ask you to (if not yet done, pause, take a minute, and hop across and take a peek at .
