Today's video about the Hibiscus was my inspiration, but its not so much about the Hibiscus, its about the two young ladies in it.
Most of us will agree that we have a real challenge with our youth here (and perhaps the world over) especially in relation to the males, but I tell you, from my explorations around the island, I've seen enough
to give me the hope I need.
So while we might be losing out a lot, I'd also say not only do I have hope for Jamaica through them, I'd hasten to say that at this point they are among Jamaica's brightest and best products!
So today, I salute and celebrate the youths, the brilliant young minds in this country. May God continue to direct their path. By the way, if you missed my special feature on my own daughter Karena, who achieved an astounding 12 CSEC distinctions, you can find it here in this YouTube video. Blessings! Today's recognition goes to yet another anonymous person! Well actually not really, as she works with one of the airlines here in Jamaica.
I met her here some days ago and she created quite a stir at the airport, as she was so
excited to meet me - in person!
And as you can imagine I felt like a king, so happy😍.

Well, it looks like Kingston is getting in the pic of things too! Regional Director at the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), Odette Soberam-Dyer, says
Kingston is growing as a tourist destination and lauded Frontier Airlines for helping to push that growth.
She was speaking with journalists on the arrival of passengers from the airline’s inaugural flight from Atlanta in the United States (US) to Kingston.
She added that Kingston is emerging as an excellent tourist destination, because of our road network, which enables easy access to
