Well, we've officially kicked off our own celebration of the national Jamaica 60 celebrations!

For those unaware, we are actually commemorating sixty years since our Independence from English rule (in 1962, August 6th)

And the great news is that I'm bringing you and all my viewers, subscribers and readers into it, starting with this song below!

That song, JAMAICA YUH GREAT, was done by my wife as an entry into the JCDC's festival competition, but also with the idea that we'll use it as our theme song here - we wrote it together.

Caution... This is not for the faint of heart! If you are scared of or have a fear of bees (Melissophobia) please refrain from this one - as this is intense!

Now assuming you are still here then you'll absolutely love this.

In this video I not only toured an established bee farm in Jamaica, expert beekeeper Ms. Parchment took us through the procedures of harvesting honey - Jamaican style!

I also lavished in the opportunity to eat freshly harvesting honey, straight from the comb!

Trust me, there's not a lot of food adventures as fun as that!

But there's no visiting a bee farm without getting a sting! And I got that too!
So look forward to the awesome learnings but also the incredible adventure!
