Hey !
Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend!
I hope you had a productive week and is looking forward to this one.
Now you may, or may not use this, but I'm pretty sure you know of someone who need this information captioned above), so here is it my friend...
It is also a popular question we get on the website (and you can understand why) so I thought it fit to share it with you so you can share with others.
And of course, I do have a few more insightful articles for you today...
- Shericka Jackson | Track & Field Star On The Rise
- Jamwest Motorsports Adventure Park
- Ocho Rios Hotels | Affordable Hotels On the Adventurous North Coast
But please remember that I also have several more great content on the website via the blog, so
kindly stop by and check them out.
And remember Ms. Tania Lou who was selected in the top 12 of the Jamaica International Independence Foreign Song
Competition?
Last week I asked that you listen to her song and vote for her if you like it, remember?
Well the feedback was astounding!
And she texted me to tell me she made it to the prestigious Top 7!
More to come on that, but thanks to all those who supported her, from here but also the many many others in the internet space!
If you missed her song on YouTube, you can find it here.
And now, the...
From natural roots wine, coconut charcoals and traditional Jamaican black castor oil, to honey face soaps and authentic Jamaican jerk seasonings (and more), it was all here!
Oh and yes, the Rastafarian inspired foods too, eg. breadfruit flour, jackfruit seed powder and even peanut bulla!
It was the inaugural and highly anticipated staging of the Grange Hill Social Services & Entrepreneurial Fair, hosted by the Social Development Commission (SDC) in Westmoreland, Jamaica!
Of course, we met with some of the small entrepreneurs but also grabbed the opportunity to speak to some of the state agencies.
All in all, a great initiative but for you, lots of learning and new access to some of what we say are 'the best in the west'!
Here's the link (embedded below).

Featured Jamaican Product
Now this one is a little subjective, I concede, but I'm throwing it in because of my personal experience!
Its about Jamaican Roots Tonic!
They come in all flavors, styles and tastes, but you'd agree with me when I say that they are among the best - people still rave about their Jamaican roots drink and what it does for them!
But this one, the same one mentioned in this video took the cake for me.
Do believe me when I say I was bubbling with energy after having it during my time covering the event - and so today I salute Ms Pat and her Dig It Up Jamaican Roots drink 😁
She came forward and has given me her support in a tangible way of 5USD per month!
It may not seem a lot but it makes a difference and so today I salute her and say, thanks for the love my friend - and welcome to the JamHearts family!
As a Patron she will be given an array of benefits including lifetime discounts on my e-store, mentions in my subsequent video credits and more, but for now I just want to tell her thanks again - and welcome!
By the way, we communicated and I told her that "Vickers" is my maternal family name, Gayle is from my dad but Vickers is from my mom 😊 so it was such a blessing.
... that the author Ian Fleming, wrote some of his most well-known James Bond thrillers from his home in Goldeneye, Oracabessa, Jamaica?
The small, but famous, James Bond beach is a favorite for many of our island
visitors.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
I'm keeping you in suspense a little more, but stay tuned, it'll worth it.
In the meantime, do also look forward to next week video premiere, hint... it will be something truly 'sweet'😊!
And that's it for today, thanks again for your valuable time again
See you next week!
In the meantime, please remember to #KeepSafeAndSane!
