Is cashew anti-aging? Are cashews really healthy for you? Who should not eat cashews? How many cashews should I eat per day?
In this exciting 'cashew farm tour' Collab with my friend Tania - from Chat Jamaican With Tania, Ms. Isaiah not only had us picking cashews, but also educated us on what I call the cashew do's and don'ts.
And then the fun part!
We roasted cashews, the old time way!
But we also had a fire scare!
HINT: Raw cashews can be extremely flammable!
We have this and more, in this special video, so enjoy!
Here's the link (embedded below).

So the ads are all over the media now -offline and online!
Its (almost) the time for Reggae Sumfest to resume after a two year hiatus.
And for those in the reggae music and dancehall space, nothing at this time is more exciting!
I don't just mean locals but also foreigners, some of who, like you, read my newsletter weekly!
So that reminded me again how captivating music and these music festivals here are, but in particular this particular event, Reggae Sumfest!
So today I highlight it as yet another massive pull factor for Jamaica.
I actually had a Q&A about Reggae Sumfest, you can find it here.
Today I salute someone who, although not a reader nor subscriber here, shares so much in common with me, its Ms. Stephenson, the parish office for SDC Westmoreland.
They (she and her team) recently hosted a timely social services and entrepreneurship expo in Grange Hill and she invited me to cover.
I have some highlights coming soon for you, but for now, a special shoutout to her for her hard work, dedication and commitment to community and nation building.
We might be a few weeks late but did you
know...
... that the Labour Day holiday was introduced in Jamaica by former Prime Minister, Michael Manley in 1972?
This, when the country was experiencing low growth and there was a dire need to correct problems of disrepair and lack of maintenance at public institutions.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
I wanted to let you know that we welcomed the first scheduled international commercial flight into the Ian Fleming International Airport in
Boscobel, St. Mary on June 16th.
The flight, an InterCaribbean Airways Embraer120, brought 30 travelers to Jamaica from Providenciales in Turks and Caicos., marking a new chapter for travel and tourism in Jamaica.
And that's it for today, thanks again for your valuable time again
See you next week!
In the meantime, please remember to #KeepSafeAndSane!
