This might surprise you but did you know that Jamaican roots (roots drinks) is not only sought after by locals here and the
diaspora?
I can tell you that from my vantage point, it seems like word is getting out about the potent and transformative power of the herbs here and the roots drink they make and so persons are actively seeking them out.
So today, I highlight them, the herbs and all the roots connoisseurs in Jamaica!
You can read more about Jamaican roots here too.
By the way, I have a fun video to share with you, here is it, take a look😊
Saw that video of the market in Savanna La Mar (above)?
Well thanks, kudos and appreciation to Ms Paulette for facilitating me, that's the lady with the cow head and cow skin in the market 😊
She made it all possible and so today I salute her for her love and support.
Up my friend!
I've been hearing a lot about the government of Jamaica planning to send farm workers to the US and it dawned on
me.
Did you know...
... that the popular 'Farm Work Program' in Jamaica started in 1943?
This was at a time when agricultural laborer were recruited to temporarily meet the wartime needs of the USA. It was very successful then and so has continued since.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
Last week I teased you on the my upcoming market video, and I delivered (abo e). This week I'm at it again😊
But this one is a secret... hint: Old Time Jamaican Chocolate 😊
Look forward to it my friend.
So that's it for today, until next week, please #KeepSafeAndSane
