What a day!
From petting snakes, perching parrots on my head, posing for pictures with alligator to feeding monkeys, the amazing team at the Jamaica Zoo ensured that we had a bellyful of memories!
But we had some scary moments!😲
The thunderous and ear-shattering roar from the lions 🦁, just a few feet away from us, had myself and the team running for safety!
All this, and more, in this captivating Jamaica Zoo tour!

Among the extensive range of animals at the Jamaica zoo were the monkeys. And that reminded me of a place called Monkey
Island here in Portland Jamaica; a small place with a very interesting story.
And that place, the monkey island, is actually a typical part of the blue lagoon tour! That Blue Lagoon, by the way, is a wildly popular travel destination for families and honeymooners.
Today I recognize my friend and fellow Jamaica enthusiast Tania!
She, like I do, also promote Jamaica, and she does so through her YouTube channel, Chat Jamaica with Tania.
But she has been out of it for the last few weeks, although she'll tell you she's doing better.
She certainly is a champion though, and today I want to recognize her for her resilience.
I told her she's a true Jamaican maroon :-)
Get well soon my friend!
Did you know...
... that one John Leyden, a Scotsman, brought the first car to Jamaica? He brought it to the parish of St. Elizabeth.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
You remember the Montego Bay Market video I did a few years back ?
Well, can I tell you that from then, persons have been asking me about doing another one?
Oh yes!
Well, guess what? I finally got around to it!
But this time its a different market!
Its coming in both video and article, so look forward to it my friend.
So that's it for today, until next week, please #KeepSafeAndSane
