Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend!
Well, so you know (in case you didn't) that Jamaican, Jamaican enthusiasts and Reggae Music lovers across the globe are celebrating the anniversary of Bob Marley's birthday today!
Oh yeah, and for good reason! He is probably the single most recognized face in the Reggae music genre.
But not just that, his is also the face of Jamaica to many across the world!
But did you know that Reggae music was influenced by an earlier genre of music in Jamaica?
We call it JAMAICAN SKA
So today, while we commemorate the legend in this Reggae Month, and rightly so, I'll also direct your attention to the genre that preceded reggae, the forerunner if you will.

Mr. Mason, a Self-Taught Jamaican Sculptor, is one of the BEST, if not the best, in the island!
I had the pleasure of meeting up with him at his gallery, and after having an eye-feast on some of the most beautiful wood carvings, I grabbed the opportunity to pick his mind, to learn more about carving and sculpting in general.
