I've gotten a lot of questions about building and construction in Jamaica, and we responded to most in our Q&A forum.
But today I bring in Mr. McBean, an experienced and esteemed project manager to help us with some of those questions, the four (4) or so most popular ones.
And yes, the first question to him was this, how much does it cost to build a house in Jamaica today?
He answered that a whole range of other related questions persons like yourself had. This is priceless😊

That article about the prominent historical sites in Portland reminded me just how much rich history and heritage we have here. These
include...
- Aqueducts and Bridges
- Clock Towers
- Forts
- Free Villages
- Lighthouses
- Botanical Gardens
- Statues
- Great Houses
- Historic Schools and Districts
- Theaters
- Mineral Spas
- Sugar Works
- Railway Stations
- and of course Caves
So you'd never have a hard time believing me when I say that (historical sites) are a big attraction in Jamaica, right?
Good! Many come here just for these!
And so today I highlight them.
In fact, I'd also suggest that you take a look at my article on these, some of the most prominent historical sites in Jamaica here.
Today I make a special shout out to one of my most ardent YouTube fans, Kathy Chinn.
OMG, few, if any, is more supportive to me on that side (YouTube)
Not only does she like, comment and share my videos (usually the first to watch and comment on a new video) she also sends me video ideas!
I absolutely love it!😍
Thanks again my friend!!!!
Did you know...
..that two-thirds of the western and central parts of Jamaica is covered by limestone? The remaining one-third is made up of alluvium.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
That video I posted yesterday, Saturday, about building in Jamaica is creating a real buzz, seems like there is a great interest in
that area.
Question for you?
Is there another topic you'd like me to cover?
Whether its a...
- place
- product
- process
- procedure or
- personality
All "P's", not bad eeh?
But seriously though, if you have an idea of something pressing, or something you are curious about, please let me know and I'll consider getting a video done for it, OK?
Just reply to this email right now, thanks in advance
